Systems Engineer - Michigan

Responsibilities:

• System Engineering/Estimating of concept and designing of Factory & Distribution Automation systems including ASRS, AGV, and Conveyor.
  
• Develop automated material handling systems.
  
• Pricing, Data Analysis, Data Report generation, Concept Drawings (3D),
  
• Pricing, for ASRS, AGV, and Conveyor.
  
• Preparation & evaluation of vendor/subcontractor quotations.
  
• Preparation of system layout proposal drawings.
  
• Preparation detailed cost estimate of all engineering, manufacturing & erection activities.
  
  

Qualifications:
Education: BSME, BSCE, BSIE, or equivalent technical degree.

Experience

• Minimum 7 years experience in industrial and distribution application of material handling solutions.
  
• Experience in Integrated Material Handling Systems.
  
• Experience analyzing data files (Excel Pivot Tables or Access).
  
• 3D AutoCAD experience preferred.
  
• Experience in material handling and upper level controls systems desired.
  
• Highly skilled position requiring little training or supervision.
  
• Requires excellent written and verbal skills.
  
• When workload is at its peak, holidays and weekends may be required.
  
• Travel may be required.

Must have AutoCAD and MS Office products expertise. Must have knowledge of fire codes. Minimum experience 3 years.
